Hello and welcome to Erd Soap, where every product is crafted with love and care to provide the perfect touch of nature’s purity for your skin. Founded by Miyuki D., our story is deeply personal and rooted in a quest for truly gentle and nourishing skincare.

A Journey to Gentle Skincare

As someone with dry, sensitive skin, Miyuki D. faced a challenge that many can relate to. Frustrated by the harsh, irritant-filled soaps available in the market that left her skin feeling uncomfortable and irritated, she embarked on a mission to create something better. The manufactured soaps she tried just didn’t meet her needs—they often exacerbated her skin issues rather than providing relief.

Determined to find a solution, Miyuki turned to the wisdom of nature. She began formulating her own soaps, focusing on natural, soothing ingredients that would be kind to her delicate skin. Her goal was simple: to create a soap that not only cleanses but also comforts and nurtures, leaving the skin feeling soft, hydrated, and truly cared for.

We Erd Soap think about our planet

Most of you already know that micro plastic causes ocean pollution, so we keep trying to reduce plastic packaging for our products. Switching to glass bottles for our hand soap was our recent effort.

We also think our products shouldn’t cause any harmful matter on creatures in water once it goes in sewer system. All of our products are 100% biodegradable so that our products quickly goes back to natural environment system. We use ingredients that comes from earth and our products eventually goes home (earth).

We said NO to palm oil

We think it is important not to affect our environment by making soap. We dedicate ourselves to using natural ingredients.

Palm plantations keep expanding and destroying rainforests around the world. Even using sustainable palm oil pushes the expansion. If many of us give up eating/using palm oil, the expansion will stop. Sure, we physically don’t cut trees and burn lives in the forests but we actually help them do that by supporting palm oil industries. Many animals and other species live in the rainforests and can’t live in palm plantations, leading them to extinction.

Then why do many soap manufacturers use palm oil? That’s because of its price and it’s easy to access the source.

However, we chose the harder way as we didn’t make any impact on our environment as a company. We spent a lot of time building recipes to create better soap without palm oil.
